Horizontal and Vertical sliding Secondary Glazing
We recently installed Horizontal and Vertical sliding Secondary Glazing to this period home in Belfast. The existing primary windows are beautiful, but leaked noise and cold air. We installed using 6mm Low E glass to retain much more heat and stop the cold draughts from entering this home. The Low Emissive coating reflects heat back into the room giving the property a modern double glazed warmth, but without compromising on the aesthetics of the original windows. This home now retains the period charm, and our Secondary Glazing fits snugly into the window areas, offering clean sight lines and a timeless elegance. With great input from our customer, our team worked to design a system that is practical and subtle.
Additionally our fitters ensured the frames were installed with care and finished with foam, pinned, sealed and trimmed professionally. The customer and we at Secondary Glazing are delighted with the results. Another Warmer, Quieter and safer home!
